About the event

About Evie:
Evie from Earth is an alternative-folk artist born and based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Evie is often sonically compared to Stevie Nicks, Florence and the Machine and Alanis Morissette. She is known for her introspective lyricism, dreamy yet gritty soundscapes, and delivers music that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Evie From Earth began as a personal writing project based on a need to develop a more whole and honest sense of self. Evie’s music is for the listeners who love a story, one layered with nuance and intention from beginning to end. Evie is currently 22 and these songs capture her journey through young adulthood; navigating trauma & grief, maintaining hope, and practicing self-acceptance with a willingness to change. Although these stories were written from a personal lens, she believes her message is highly reflected in the current state of the world and our collective experience as humans.
A familiar presence in Vancouver’s indie scene, Evie From Earth has played notable venues such as The Roxy Cabaret, The Cobalt, and The Heatley. The band also took the stage at West Vancouver's Harmony Arts Festival in 2024. Evie has played live on several radio stations which include CFUV 101.9FM in Victoria and Unsigned BC Radio.
In September 2024, she released her first single, Mossy Mountains, accompanied by an independently made music video that is best described as ethereal and lush. Recently, Evie From Earth released her debut EP, BEAR — an evocative coming-of-age collection that embraces vulnerability, self-discovery, and resilience.

About The Shelf Concert:
Inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, we bring raw, stripped-down performances to Vancouver — but with our own after-hours twist. On Wednesday nights, Hestia closes its doors to the public and transforms into a private listening room for just 60 guests. No blasting speakers, no artificial mixing — just pure, direct sound. Artists self-mix in the moment, adjusting to the space and the energy of the room. And since each concert is recorded live, the audience isn’t just watching — they’re part of the final cut. Every cheer, clap, and moment of silence is captured by the microphones forever.
Your ticket includes:
✔️ Exclusive access to the session — An intimate, after-hours concert in the closed restaurant space at Hestia.
✔️ A late-night buffet — Curated by HESTIA to make the night feel even more special.
✔️ A role in the recording – Your energy, your reactions, your moment.
How It Works
The concert is structured into three short sets (three songs each), with two 5-minute breaks in between.
Natural emotional reactions (clapping, cheering, vibing, etc.) are encouraged!
During performances, we ask for minimal disruptive noise — think of it like being in a live recording session. Because it is!
Breaks are off the record — the perfect time to chat, enjoy the buffet, or grab another drink.
Some artists may extend their set or play an encore if the vibe feels right — show your love and you might just get more!
Limited to 60 spots. Every session is unique and will not appear again.
