About the event

About Frankie & The Juicebox:

Frankie & The Juicebox is a Vancouver-based garage rock project led by Francis Henson, blending indie rock attitude with punchy, offbeat songwriting and a refreshingly unpolished edge.

Drawing inspiration from bands like The Strokes, Joyce Manor, and Alvvays, their sound sits comfortably between tight hooks and loose energy — songs that feel effortlessly thrown together, yet land with precision. There’s a natural sense of wit and nonchalance running through their music, where catchy melodies meet a slightly chaotic charm.

Since their debut in December 2022, the band has steadily refined a live set built on energy, character, and connection, leading into the release of their self-titled debut album (April 2026). With a string of singles including “No Worries If Not,” “Prodigy,” and “Take Me With You,” Frankie & The Juicebox continues to build momentum with a sound that’s playful, sharp, and hard to shake.

For their Shelf session, the band brings that same loose, high-energy presence into a room built for listening — where every shift, every groove, and every spontaneous moment becomes part of the recording.

Arrangement of the Session:

Francis Henson — Vocals

Madeleine Elkins — Guitar

Sydney Tough — Bass

Trent Otter — Drums

About The Shelf Concert:

Inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, we bring raw, stripped-down performances to Vancouver — but with our own after-hours twist. On Wednesday nights, Hestia closes its doors to the public and transforms into a private listening room for just 60 guests. No blasting speakers, no artificial mixing — just pure, direct sound. Artists self-mix in the moment, adjusting to the space and the energy of the room. And since each concert is recorded live, the audience isn’t just watching — they’re part of the final cut. Every cheer, clap, and moment of silence is captured by the microphones forever.

Your ticket includes:

✔️ Exclusive access to the session — An intimate, after-hours concert in the closed restaurant space at Hestia.

✔️ A late-night buffet — Curated by HESTIA to make the night feel even more special.

✔️ A role in the recording – Your energy, your reactions, your moment.

How It Works

  • The concert is structured into three short sets (three songs each), with two 5-minute breaks in between.

  • Natural emotional reactions (clapping, cheering, vibing, etc.) are encouraged!

  • During performances, we ask for minimal disruptive noise — think of it like being in a live recording session. Because it is!

  • Breaks are off the record — the perfect time to chat, enjoy the buffet, or grab another drink.

  • Some artists may extend their set or play an encore if the vibe feels right — show your love and you might just get more!

Limited to 60 spots. Every session is unique and will not appear again.
