About the event

About Kirsten McCormick:
Kirsten McCormick is a Vancouver-based folk-rock musician whose songs live at the intersection of music theory and raw emotion. Trained in concert piano and theory since childhood, she grew into a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with a natural gift for turning honesty into melody.
With two EPs already released and a debut record on the way, Kirsten’s music carries both joy and melancholy, lightness and weight—a cinematic sound that feels as personal as a journal entry. Listening to her is like standing at the edge of the coast, a light breeze on your face, where moments of reflection and release wash gently over you.
Her performances are deeply personal, intimate, and connective—music for those “me and myself” moments that leave you lighter than before.
Arrangement of the Session:
Kirsten McCormick — Guitar & Vocals

About The Shelf Concert:
Inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, we bring raw, stripped-down performances to Vancouver. No blasting speakers, no artificial mixing—just pure, direct sound. Artists self-mix in the moment, adjusting to the space and energy of the room. And since each concert is recorded live, the audience isn’t just watching—they’re part of the final cut. Every cheer, clap, and moment of silence is captured forever.
Your ticket includes:
✔️ Exclusive access to the Live Zone – The only place to fully experience the show in the venue.
✔️ A drink + a snack – Curated by HESTIA.
✔️ A role in the recording – Your energy, your reactions, your moment.
How It Works
• The concert is structured into multiple sets (3 minimum) of three songs, with short 10-minute breaks in between.
• Natural emotional reactions (clapping, cheering, vibing, etc.) are encouraged!
• During performances, we ask for minimal disruptive noise—think of it like being in a live recording session. And it is!
• Breaks are off the record—the perfect time to chat, grab another drink, or order more food.
• Artists may extend their set if the vibe is right. Show your love, and you might just get an encore!
Limited to 40 spots. Every session is unique. Get your ticket now—before someone else does.
