The Royal Sundowners is a Vancouver-based five-piece band built on groove, connection, and feel-good energy. Sinking into a rich, infectious sound, they blend alluring vocals, soulful keys, bright rhythm guitar, groovy bass lines, and beats that invite you to move. Their live shows are energetic and immersive — focused on presence, chemistry, and pulling the audience into the moment.

In 2025, The Royal Sundowners began releasing music from their debut EP "Colours", which has already garnered close to 100,000 streams on Spotify. Individually, the members have performed everywhere from festivals and packed arenas to intimate backyard shows across Canada, bringing that wide-range experience into every room they play.

Offstage, the band’s world extends into video game sound design, digital promotion, and NHL stadium music direction — but onstage, their ethos stays simple: good times, good vibes, good music, and good people.

About The Shelf Concert:

Inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, we bring raw, stripped-down performances to Vancouver — but with our own after-hours twist. On Wednesday nights, Hestia closes its doors to the public and transforms into a private listening room for just 60 guests. No blasting speakers, no artificial mixing — just pure, direct sound. Artists self-mix in the moment, adjusting to the space and the energy of the room. And since each concert is recorded live, the audience isn’t just watching — they’re part of the final cut. Every cheer, clap, and moment of silence is captured by the microphones forever.

✔️ Exclusive access to the session — An intimate, after-hours concert in the closed restaurant space at Hestia.

How It Works

• The concert is structured into three short sets (three songs each), with two 5-minute breaks in between.

• Natural emotional reactions (clapping, cheering, vibing, etc.) are encouraged!

• During performances, we ask for minimal disruptive noise — think of it like being in a live recording session. Because it is!

• Breaks are off the record — the perfect time to chat, enjoy the buffet, or grab another drink.

• Some artists may extend their set or play an encore if the vibe feels right — show your love and you might just get more!
